  1. Radish Microgreens (7-10 days to harvest)
  2. Broccoli Microgreens (7-10 days to harvest)
  3. Arugula Microgreens (10-14 days to harvest)

These varieties are perfect for beginners due to their quick growth and high success rate.

How to Grow Microgreens

  1. Choose a shallow container with drainage holes or a growing tray
  2. With a quality seed-starting mix, Fill the tray or container with a couple inches and spread out evenly.
  3. Sow seeds densely on the surface, then lightly press seeds into medium for better contact and optimum germination.
  4. Cover with another tray or container and leave in a dark area for several days, or until sprouts appear.
  5. Water gently and keep soil moist – for best results bottom water!
  6. Once sprouts have appeared (somewhere between 3-7 days) Place in a warm, well-lit area or under grow lights to finish growing until harvest.

Harvesting Your Microgreens

When your microgreens have developed their first true leaves and reached 1-3 inches in height, they’re ready for harvest. Here’s how:

  1. Use clean, sharp scissors
  2. Cut just above the soil line
  3. Harvest only what you need, allowing the rest to continue growing

  • Use a heat mat to speed up germination
  • Provide adequate light (12-16 hours daily)
  • Water from the bottom to avoid disturbing delicate seedlings
